We welcome your visit to Abeja for the special events listed below. The winery is open to the public by appointment only. It is best to plan ahead as reservations are limited.


June 15 & 16 | Walla Walla Chamber Music Festival
The Walla Walla Chamber Music Festival returns to Abeja for an intimate evening of music, featuring richly expressive works performed in our charming, acoustically resonant Big Barn.
Plan ahead for a delicious evening. Guests are encouraged to preorder menu items to ensure the best selection.

June 18-20 | SOMM Hotel Pop-Up Tasting, Woodinville
The Abeja team travels to Woodinville just ahead of Father’s Day for a special pop-up tasting, offered by appointment. This seated experience at The Somm Hotel pairs Abeja wines with thoughtfully crafted small bites from Bin 47. Consider making a weekend of it with a stay at The SOMM and dinner with our winemakers on Saturday evening.

June 20 | SOMM Hotel Abeja Winemakers Dinner, Woodinville 
Winemakers Daniel Wampfler and Amy Alvarez-Wampfler host a five-course dining experience prepared by James Beard–nominated Chef Maximillian Petty, Executive Chef of Bin 47. Each course will be thoughtfully paired with Abeja’s iconic estate and flagship wines.  

July 4 | Fourth of July BBQ 
Join us for a red, white, and barbecue celebration at our historic farmstead. This star-spangled afternoon includes live music, classic American barbecue, vibrant summer salads, and festive desserts showcasing the valley’s seasonal bounty.

July 5 | Fourth of July Weekend Brunch 
Get your morning off to a sparkling start with our new Sparkling Brunch Series, offered in honor of our 25th anniversary. Gather at our historic farmstead to enjoy the breakfast for which Abeja is known. Typically served only to Inn guests, this celebrated morning table is open to the community by reservation on select dates throughout the year.  

July 17 | La Fête du Vin
Mark 25 years of Abeja’s Bordeaux-inspired winemaking at a grand tasting featuring iconic wines, rare cellar selections, and the sounds of French jazz, while enjoying a relaxed summer fête atmosphere and garden-party attire.

July 18 | 25th Anniversary Dinner with Andy Ricker
Andy Ricker, the Michelin and James Beard award-winning chef behind the influential Pok Pok restaurants in Portland and New York, will travel from Thailand to Walla Walla to serve as guest chef for an unforgettable Thai dining experience celebrating 25 years of Abeja. Menu.

August 21 | Sunset Supper & Starlight at The Inn
Plan a late-summer escape of two nights or more at The Inn at Abeja that includes a stay on Friday, August 21, then join us for an evening of seasonal dining and celestial discovery. Following a family-style dinner from The Kitchen at Abeja, Whitman College astronomy professor Andrea Dobson will guide guests through the constellations above the valley. Prepare to be star-struck! Reservations for this 25th-anniversary-inspired event are available by calling The Inn at 509-522-1234 to arrange your stay.

September 6 | Labor Day Weekend Brunch

September 11 & 12 | Summer Release & Walking Tours
Join us for the unveiling of summer release wines, and enjoy a guided walking tour of our historic farmstead, vineyards, gardens, and cellar.

September 12 | Winemakers’ Harvest Dinner 
Dine from our Skysill Estate vineyard, just two miles from the winery, with sweeping views of the valley and Blue Mountains beyond, at a harvest-inspired dinner created by Chef Mike Easton, paired with a curated selection of wines presented by Abeja’s winemaking team.

November 5 – 8 | Fall Release Weekend
Set against the vibrant autumn colors along Mill Creek, this seated tasting highlights newly released wines, complemented by small bites from The Kitchen at Abeja.

December 4 & 5 | Holiday Celebration
Ring in the holidays at our quintessential Holiday Inn with a festive tasting artfully paired with small bites from The Kitchen at Abeja.

December 12 | Third Annual Oyster Festival  
Abeja celebrates Northwest seafood with the return of our cozy annual Oyster Festival. Enjoy your favorite bivalve on the half shell, grilled, fried, and creamy. 

December 19 | Cabernet & Carols
Gather for a festive afternoon pairing Cabernet and strolling carolers, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere filled with seasonal music and holiday cheer.
