To Our Loyal Abeja Customers and Valued Guests,
The well-being of our customers, visitors, team members, partners and the community is our top priority. We are closely monitoring and following the CDC's and WHO's statements regarding COVID-19 and have implemented the recommendations of these agencies as well as local, state and federal health officials.
Our team members consistently practice protocols designed to improve hygiene and sanitation as well as prevent illnesses, and since the COVID-19 outbreak, we have also implemented the following steps:
- conducted a deep cleaning throughout the winery, the tasting room and The Inn and increased cleaning frequency throughout the day
- increased hand-sanitizing stations for team members and visitors to clean their hands more frequently
- retrained employees on best practices for hygiene and winery cleaning to prevent the spread of illness
- reset public seating areas to adhere to social distancing directives and to make greater use of outdoor space, weather permitting
- shifted breakfast service for Inn guests to in-room only
- added self-guided wine tastings for Inn guests, in-room only
- implemented curbside wine pickup
- included shipping on wine orders of six or more bottles
THE INN AT ABEJA
Ensuring guests feel comfortable throughout their stay is of utmost importance to us. Each cottage has its own entrance, and our 38-acre estate allows guests to explore the property's abundant gardens, creek and vineyards. At present, our renowned gourmet breakfasts are brought to guests to enjoy in-room. Self-guided wine tastings, included with each stay, are also provided for guests to savor in the comfort of their private cottage or suite.
In addition, through The Inn at Abeja's management company, Columbia Hospitality, we have partnered with EcoLab, a global leader in infection prevention, to enhance our already stringent safety and sanitation standards as part of the Columbia Clean program that includes, among other measures, the following protocols:
- Utilizing highly effective and sustainable Ecolab cleaning products to clean and disinfect throughout the properties.
- Increasing the frequency and intensity of cleaning and disinfecting high-touch, high-traffic areas, such as light switches, door handles, elevator buttons, and more.
- Increasing the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing culinary tools and kitchen work areas, along with team members wearing personal protective equipment, sanitizing POS systems between uses, and more.
- De-cluttering paper and other amenities, such as pen, paper, directories, etc. and supplementing with digital options or providing amenities upon request.
- Implementing innovative clean technologies, such as modern electrostatic sprayers and ultraviolet light to sanitize surfaces and objects
