Because of the essential correlation between
good vineyard management and wine quality, our first investment was in
planting 17 acres of estate red Bordeaux varieties, primarily Cabernet
Sauvignon. Heather Hill is located at the south end of the Walla Walla
Valley Appellation, where we believe the soil, aspect, and growing conditions
will prove to be ideal for producing fruit of the highest quality. To
date, we have harvested fruit from Heather Hill for two vintages. The
first you will see in our 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon. Even in its youth,
Heather Hill is proving to be an exciting site with great potential.

We also work with growers in both the Walla
Walla and Columbia Valleys who share our passion for quality, innovation,
and the land. These include Sagemoor, Seven Hills, Minnick Hills, Conner
Lee, Kestral View Estates, and Celilo.
