We promise there will be no rooster crowing at the first rays of sun. However, this charming cottage was truly the former chicken house for the farm. Its high open beamed ceiling, modern kitchen and granite-tiled bathroom disguise its former life. The living and eating area is furnished with a comfortable couch and a rustic armoire. In this, one of our most popular cottages, the main living area looks out on a small garden dominated by fragrant yellow roses and a much-visited bird feeder. Former guests have enjoyed counting how many chickens still reside in and around this cottage. The light-filled bedroom with queen-sized bed opens
to a private brick patio. One can hear Titus Creek below as it roams through
the property or fall asleep in the sun in one of the comfortable lounge
chairs. In the evening, a gas fireplace will take the spring or fall chill
from the bedroom. |
